Apple Banana Oats Puree

A little twist on a traditional baby breakfast provides extra texture and flavor and a whole lot more. Apples and bananas also increase the nutrient factor of oats and combined they provide a great start to a great day.


  • 1/2 cup apple diced
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/4 cup ground oats
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup formula/milk


  1. Place oats, apple and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Turn heat down to medium-low and cook covered for another 10-15 minutes, remembering to stir 2-3 times.
  3. Remove from heat and add in sliced banana.
  4. Place mixture in blender and puree.
