Apple Banana Oats Puree
A little twist on a traditional baby breakfast provides extra texture and flavor and a whole lot more. Apples and bananas also increase the nutrient factor of oats and combined they provide a great start to a great day.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup apple diced
- 1/2 banana
- 1/4 cup ground oats
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup formula/milk
Directions
- Place oats, apple and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Turn heat down to medium-low and cook covered for another 10-15 minutes, remembering to stir 2-3 times.
- Remove from heat and add in sliced banana.
- Place mixture in blender and puree.
