Cinnamon Nut Bread
Cinnamon Nut Bread Recipe
This is a fantastic and healthy take on apple cake. The flavors of the apple, nuts and cinnamon are all there, the only thing that is missing is the high fat content. This bread can be toasted and topped with apple compote and served with vanilla ice cream for a delicious dessert.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup steamed apples
- 1/4 cup crushed walnuts
- 1 cup milk
- 1 pkg dry yeast
- 3 cups flour
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Directions
- Heat milk.
- Place milk and yeast in blender for five minutes.
- Add remaining wet ingredients and mix.
- Sift together dry ingredients and slowly add wet mixture.
- Shape into loaf
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
