Apple Pie Smoothie

A beautiful, crisp Autumn has arrived and with it so has homey, comfort food.  I think that calls for some delicious, buttery homemade Apple Pie. What? You don’t have time to bake an Apple Pie from scratch? Well, if you have 10 minutes I would like to introduce you to Apple Pie’s delectable but health conscious cousin, the Apple Pie Smoothie.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 3/4 cup skim milk
  • 1 cup chopped, peeled Granny Smith apple
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 2 tbsp granola
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp honey

Directions

  1. Take all of your ingredients and place or pour them in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth (or leave a little character in it if you want to have it for dessert using a spoon).
