Avocado Butter


  • 2 1/4 cup avocado, mashed
  • 3 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/3 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/3 tsp garlic powder


  1. Place ingredients in blender in order listed.
  2. Blend until smooth. Scraping down the sides of the blender as needed.
  3. Spoon into a airtight container with lid. Chill in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
  4. Serve with rice cakes, crackers, spread on toast, sandwiches, etc. Yield: approx. 2 c.
