Bread Plum Pudding
Ingredients
- 1 loaf sourdough bread
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 can peaches
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 10 oz plums
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- vanilla ice cream if desired
Directions
- Cut bread into small pieces. Mix with milk and let sit for one hour.
- Preheat oven at 350˚F and grease a pan.
- Put all ingredients except for the ice cream into a blender, mix to obtain a smooth paste and pour the paste into the pan. Bake for one hour.
- After one hour, increase heat to 425˚F and bake for another 15 minutes, for the pudding form a crust. Remove from the oven and cut into pieces. Top with ice cream and serve warm.
