Chai Tea


  • 2 cup water
  • 4 tea bags (black tea)
  • 2 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg


  1. Place a medium saucepan filled with 2 cups of water over medium-high to high heat and bring to a boil.
  2. Add tea bags and reduce heat; simmer for 2 minutes and then remove tea bags.
  3. Stir the milk, honey, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg into the tea. Place back over medium-high to high heat and return to a boil. Then stir the tea with a wire whisk in order to foam the milk. Pour into serving glasses and serve.
