Chimichurri Sauce
The Chimichurri Sauce orginates from Argentina but has found a following amongst red meat lovers everywhere. The freshness of the parsley and cilantro paired with a rich meat creates an unbelievable balance and provides the the health benefits of fresh green herbs.
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup cilantro
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp red paper flakes (increase if you like it hot)
- 1 tsp salt
Directions
- Place everything in blender and puree for 1 minute, it should have some texture when you are done.
- This sauce is often served with red meat, but really it’s delicious with many things including fish.
