Chimichurri Sauce

The Chimichurri Sauce orginates from Argentina but has found a following amongst red meat lovers everywhere. The freshness of the parsley and cilantro paired with a rich meat creates an unbelievable balance and provides the the health benefits of fresh green herbs.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp red paper flakes (increase if you like it hot)
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  1. Place everything in blender and puree for 1 minute, it should have some texture when you are done.
  2. This sauce is often served with red meat, but really it’s delicious with many things including fish.
