Coffee Smoothie
Coffee is wonderful and as a smoothie it’s utterly scrumptious! Nuts are a great source of good fats and coffee is a must-have for many in the morning. Preparing a coffee smoothie that combines your coffee along with the nutritional goodness of walnuts and bananas is not only good for you, but also a delicious treat.
Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup brewed coffee
- 1/2 cup light yogurt (substitue almond milk or soy milk)
- 1/4 tsp vanilla bean
- 1 tbsp agave nectar
Directions
- Take your favorite coffee and combine it with the rest of the ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
