Ingredients
- 1 (8-ounce) box frozen chopped spinach
- 1 (8-ounce) box cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 bunch green onions
- 1 package dried vegetable soup mix
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 small can water chestnuts, sliced
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- crackers or sliced toasted baguettes for serving
Directions
- Defrost and drain spinach as thoroughly as possible.
- Drain sliced water chestnuts and dice.
- Place the spinach, room temperature cream cheese, onions, dried veggie soup mix, lemon juice, diced water chestnuts, and sour cream into the blender. Blend 30 second to 1 minute or until well blended.
- Scrap blended spread mixture into a bowl, cover and place in the fridge to chill for at least 1 hour but preferably overnight.
- Serve with crackers or sliced toasted baguettes.
