Homemade Nutella


  • 1 cup chocolate
  • 1 cup hazelnuts
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 3 Tbsp hazelnut oil
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup almonds


  1. Roast hazelnuts for 10 minutes at 400˚F, let cool, remove skins and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt chocolate and set aside a few minutes.
  3. In a blender, add the nuts and blend until they’re very fine. Add sugar, cocoa, salt and melted chocolate and blend again to obtain a thick paste.
  4. Add the oil, one tbsp at a time, blending for a few seconds to incorporate.
  5. Pour the cream into a container and refrigerated until serving.
