How To Make Baby Oatmeal

Oatmeal contains fiber, protein and calcium and is often one of the first foods for babies due to the health benefits. The basic oatmeal breakfast recipe is great on its own or for additional nutrients any choice of mashed or pureed can be mixed in. In this recipe, we show you how to make baby oatmeal using a blender so the little ones digestive system can get all the nutrition from this delicious meal.


  • 1/4 cup of oats
  • 3/4 cup – 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup formula/milk


  1. Grind oats in blender.
  2. Bring water to a boil and add in ground oats while stirring.
  3. Cook on low heat for another 10 minutes while continuously stirring.
  4. Add in formula or milk and whisk for 2 minutes.
  5. Add mashed fruit to oats if desired.
