Mango Salsa
Ingredients
- 1 large mango, peeled and chopped fine
- 1 cup finely diced tomatoes
- 1 bell pepper, finely diced
- 1/2 cup onion, finely diced
- 1 cup fresh cilantro
- juice of 1 lime
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper, more or less to taste
- 1/2 tsp salt, more or less to taste
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and finely diced (opt.)
Directions
- Place all ingredients into a blender in the order listed. Blend until well mixed.
- Pour into a bowl and place in refrigerator to chill for at least one hour before serving in order for the flavors to develop.
- Serve over salads, seafood, chicken, or pork. Also great for dipping pita chips.
