Ingredients
- 1 large egg
- 1 Tbsp vinegar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp dry mustard
- 1/8 tsp paprika
- pinch of ground red pepper
- 1 cup vegetable oil, divided
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
Directions
- In a blender jar, combine the egg, vinegar, salt, dry mustard, paprika, and red pepper. Secure lid and blend for 5 seconds.
- With motor running on lowest setting, add in 1/2 cup oil through feed hole in lid. . If needed, use a spatula to scrape down the sides of the blender. Next, add remaining oil and lemon juice. Process until desired consistency is reached.
- Mayonnaise can be stored in tightly sealed container for up to 4 weeks in the refrigerator.
