Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 2 Tbsp chocolate flakes
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 tsp orange extract
- 1 tsp orange zest
Ingredients Orange Glaze
- 2 Tbsp orange juice
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1 cup brown sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a large baking pan and set aside.
- In a blender, mix together the flour, sugar, salt, eggs, orange extract, butter and orange zest. Blend until well combined into a thick paste.
- Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 30-40 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chocolate flakes.
- While the cake is in the oven, prepare the glaze: mix all ingredients into a bowl and stir until smooth. Pour over the hot cake and set aside to cool, for about 30 minutes. Cut into squares and serve, adding orange slices on top, optionally.
