Pea and Apple Baby Food


  • 6 oz frozen peas
  • 6 oz frozen soybeans
  • 2 apples
  • 6 oz apple juice


  1. In a large pan, add water and bring to a boil. Defrost the peas and soybeans, rinse with cold water and place all ingredients except for the apple juice into the pan. Cook for 5-10 minutes at medium heat or for 3-5 minutes at high heat.
  2. Transfer the ingredients into a colander, drain all the water and put in a blender, together with the apple juice. Mix to obtain a smooth paste. Allow to chill for a couple of minutes and serve cooled. You can store the puree in the refrigerator for 1-2 days or freeze it for up to 1 week.
