Peach Crisp


  • 2 cup fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 4 to 6 scoops of vanilla ice cream (opt.)


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Spray a 8-inch square baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
  3. In a blender combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Pulse 2 to 3 times until ingredients are slightly mixed. Cut in softened butter and pulse to combine again until mixture looks coarse and crumbly.
  4. Wash, peel, and slice peaches and arrange them in the bottom of the baking dish.
  5. Crumble mixture over peaches and place in oven. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until crumbly topping is golden brown and bubbly hot. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
  6. Place on serving dish and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired. Serve warm.
