Pumpkin Smoothie

Pumpkins are great for vision and heart health and contain a powerhouse of vitamins.  So a pumpkin smoothie is a perfect, comforting, healthy treat for Fall and the added coconut milk contains heart-healthy fats, plus helps to create a deliciously silky smoothie.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup cooked pumpkin
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/3 cup coconut milk
  • 2/3 cup ice
  • 2 tsp molasses
  • 2 tsp whey protein

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in blender and blend on high speed until creamy.
  2. For a fancy take on the pumpkin smoothie, add a few shavings of white chocolate and a wafer cookie.
