Tasty Turkey Puree

It is a good idea to introduce meat into the diet between 7-9 months according to dieticians. Babies aren’t always pleased with the new texture so it is a good idea to add some vegetables to the puree.


  • Turkey puree
  • 500 grams ground turkey
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1/4 cup cranberries
  • 1 1/2 cups homemade chicken stock
  • olive oil


  1. Heat olive oil in saucepan and add ground turkey.
  2. Continue to stir until browned and remove cooked turkey from pot.
  3. Dice the carrot and celery and place in pot on medium-heat, add cranberries and cook until vegetables are tender.
  4. Add Turkey back into pot along with chicken stock and continue to cook for another 15 minutes.
  5. Let cool and then place in blender and puree.
  6. Serve immediately or freeze.
