Tasty Turkey Puree
It is a good idea to introduce meat into the diet between 7-9 months according to dieticians. Babies aren’t always pleased with the new texture so it is a good idea to add some vegetables to the puree.
Ingredients
- Turkey puree
- 500 grams ground turkey
- 1 carrot
- 1 celery stalk
- 1/4 cup cranberries
- 1 1/2 cups homemade chicken stock
- olive oil
Directions
- Heat olive oil in saucepan and add ground turkey.
- Continue to stir until browned and remove cooked turkey from pot.
- Dice the carrot and celery and place in pot on medium-heat, add cranberries and cook until vegetables are tender.
- Add Turkey back into pot along with chicken stock and continue to cook for another 15 minutes.
- Let cool and then place in blender and puree.
- Serve immediately or freeze.
