Whole Wheat Pancakes With Berries


  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 3/4 cup whole wheat kernels
  • 1 cup berries of your choice
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp butter for topping, optional
  • pinch salt, optional
  • 2 Tbsp honey, optional


  1. In your blender, add the milk and kernels and mix until smooth, for about 3-4 minutes or more if needed.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients except for the berries and blend again for 30 seconds.
  3. Coat the pancakes pan with oil if needed. For a lighter meal, you can use a cooking spray. Turn the heat on and wait for a couple of seconds.
  4. Pour the mix on the hot pan and bake on each side until light brown.
  5. Remove from the pan and serve warm or cold, with berries on top. For a sweeter dessert, add honey and butter.
