Yellow Pepper Hummus


  • 1 cup yellow bell pepper, chopped
  • 12 oz ┬ácan garbanzo beans, drained, rinsed
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 3 Tbsp lime juice
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Add all ingredients in a blender and mix until you obtain a smooth paste. Stop from time to time to scrape down the mixture from the sides if needed.
  2. Move to a serving dish, add salt and pepper to taste and refrigerate for 2 hours. Serve on top of pita, potato chips, crackers or tortillas.
