Hollandaise Sauce


  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce


  1. In a blender, mix the egg yolks, lemon juice, mustard and hot pepper sauce until well combined.
  2. Place the butter into an ovenproof cup and heat it in the microwave for 1 minute or until melted. Add the melted butter in the blender and mix again to obtain a thin paste. Pour the mixture into a serving dish and serve warm, on top of omelets, eggs or meat dishes.
