Turkey Marinara Sauce


  • 1 lb turkey sausages
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup fresh basil, minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • cooked spaghetti


  1. In a large skillet, cook the turkey sausages, onions and garlic in oil, over medium heat, until sausages are no longer pink.
  2. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a blender, mix the tomatoes, basil, oregano and wine to form a paste.
  4. Transfer to the saucepan, add the turkey and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Top over spaghetti and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serve warm!
