Avocado and Asiago Cheese Dip

This Avocado and Asiago Cheese Dip is my go to when  I need to whip up something quickly for a get together. It takes any sort of chip or cracker from ho-hum to a taste sensation. The creaminess of the avocado with the salt cut of the Asiago make a perfect pair and when you add a leaf of basil it moves up to supreme levels.


  • 2 peeled avocados
  • half cup of shredded Asiago cheese
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1/4 cup basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup cilantro leaves
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt


  1. Combine all of your ingredients in a blender and blend on high for at least five minutes until smooth.
  2. Serve with tortilla chips or rice crackers.
