Olive Tapenade


  • 1 1/2 cups ripe olives
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp rosemary leaves
  • 1 tsp seasoning
  • chopped red peppers, optional
  • assorted crackers, optional


  1. In a blender, add all ingredients except for the peppers and crackers. Process at medium and high speed, until you obtain a coarse composition.
  2. Spoon into a serving dish and sprinkle with bell pepper if desired. Serve on top of crackers, bread slices, pitas or tortillas.
