Pecan Pie Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup pecans, presoaked for 1 hour
  • 1 large frozen banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 date, pitted and soaked for 20 minutes
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 6 to 8 ice cubes

Directions

  1. Pre-soak the date and pecans as directed to make blending easier.
  2. Place the liquids into the blender, followed by the fruit, followed by the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth and creamy. Add additional ice if needed for thickness.
  3. Pour into a tall glass and serve immediately.
